About the BellaOnline Classic Film Editor
Lucinda Moriarty

Classic Film
Lucinda has always loved movies.

As a young girl, she would use index cards to catalog the old black-and-white films she watched on television. Each card contained information about the stars, the plot, and a personal rating of the movie. It was no surprise to anyone that she majored in Radio-TV-Film courses in college and subsequently moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

In Los Angeles, she worked in television production and talent casting for several years before returning home to the Midwest to work as a playwright, director, and actress. She is a member of the American Film Institute and the Dramatists Guild.

Currently, she splits her time between writing plays and enjoying as many movies as possible. With so many entertainment options delivered directly to her computer, she still prefers the magic and the artistry of the classics. She hopes you will grab your favorite movie snack and join her as she revisits the classic films of Hollywood’s Golden Age.
